Licensed Field Service Representative (Insurance)

Location: Traverse City, Michigan, United States; office-based role

Salary: $23.00–$25.50 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Service existing insurance accounts, including applications, renewals, amendments, endorsements, transfers, billing updates, and coverage changes.
• Provide insurance quotes and proposals while applying underwriting rules, discounts, and applicable regulations.
• Process insurance and membership payments, verify applications, update member information, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and explain insurance products, coverage, billing, and service advantages.
• Conduct retention and promotional calls, solicit policy reinstatements, and identify cross-sale opportunities across insurance, travel, life, membership, and financial products.
• Support agents and management, participate in office and community events, and promote customer satisfaction in a team environment.

Requirements

• Current Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
• Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling or servicing products.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience servicing insurance policies, processing applications and payments, answering billing and coverage questions, and promoting insurance products.
• Knowledge of insurance terminology, regulations, underwriting procedures, sales compliance guidelines, and insurance or membership systems.
• Clear communication, accurate mathematical skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume customer service environment.
