Mental Health Specialist for Onsite Health Center

Location: Onsite at a health center in Warrenton, Virginia

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide patient-centered, outcomes-based, evidence-based psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families aged 12 and older.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document clinical progress in the electronic medical record.
• Lead support and psychoeducation groups and deliver mental health webinars and workshops.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and medical clinicians to support integrated continuity of care.
• Address patients’ social needs and coordinate referrals for specialty care, hospitalization, and advanced psychiatric assessments or treatment.

Requirements

• Master’s-level licensed mental health clinician, such as an LPC, LPCC, LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD.
• Clinicians pursuing independent licensure must obtain it within two years of hire.
• Required experience providing counseling and mental health services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness and related psychological issues.
• BLS certification is required, or certification must be obtained upon hire.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and decisive judgment, work with minimal supervision, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician.
• Experience using evidence-based treatments for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other behavioral health disorders.
• Experience with behavioral interventions, critical incident event management, and case management.
