PRN Medical Assistant - Stoughton, WI (Primary Care)

Location: Stoughton, Wisconsin, United States; onsite clinic work

Salary: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, clean and stock exam rooms, and support a positive patient experience.
• Review medical information, collect updated health data, take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Coordinate scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and external care.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach, care-plan development, identification of care gaps, and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
• Primary care experience.
