Memory Architect (AI PC)

Location: Spring, Texas, United States of America

Salary: $147,050–$230,850 annually, with additional bonus and/or equity opportunities for United States candidates.

What you will do

• Develop organization-wide memory architectures and methodologies for AI PC and electrical hardware platforms.
• Drive memory footprint optimization while analyzing bandwidth, latency, cache efficiency, and workload tradeoffs.
• Model and optimize AI, graphics, and productivity workload mixes.
• Partner with silicon, firmware, OS, memory vendors, and industry organizations on architecture and design decisions.
• Evaluate emerging memory technologies, supplier roadmaps, and outsourced development partnerships.
• Lead technology integration, part qualification, product quality reviews, and hardware performance tracking.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in electrical design, hardware architecture, electronic hardware, software tools, or a related field.
• Experience with memory design, hardware architecture, hardware design, systems design, and simulations.
• Knowledge of debugging, FPGA, MATLAB, oscilloscopes, printed circuit boards, schematic capture, and electronics.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, exercise independent judgment, establish functional policy, and mentor less-experienced staff.
