Senior Manager - Memory Technology

Location: Seattle, USA; hybrid model combining office-based and remote/home-office work

Annual base salary: $170,000–$242,000 USD, depending on skills, qualifications, location, and experience

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a distributed engineering team across office and remote work arrangements.
• Own the technical strategy and development roadmap for Nordic's memory IP portfolio.
• Translate R&D requirements and specifications into development plans and delivery schedules.
• Drive memory technology projects from initiation through completion and production.
• Provide technical approval at project approval, tape-out, prototype approval, and production transfer milestones.
• Maintain collaboration with Nordic R&D, SoC design teams, customers, and technology partners.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Substantial experience in semiconductor memory development and embedded memory technologies.
• Track record of delivering memory IP to production silicon.
• Experience leading engineering teams, including distributed or hybrid teams; formal line-management experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of memory architecture, circuit design, and device physics, including bitcell arrays, sense amplifiers, timing paths, low-voltage operation, retention, power modes, redundancy, repair, ECC, and memory BIST.
• Clear communication, structured delivery, collaborative decision-making, and the ability to work across sites, functions, and time zones.
