Associate Financial Advisor

Location: On-site full-time in Vancouver-Main and Pender, Vancouver, BC, Canada; flexibility to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance and during banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial solutions.
• Develop forward-looking financial plans and address clients’ investment, financial, credit, and mortgage needs.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships through comprehensive banking services and referrals.
• Build relationships through networking, outbound calls, community events, and client outreach activities.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and support their use of digital banking tools.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Strong client service, relationship-building, critical thinking, goal-planning, digital literacy, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
