Associate Financial Advisor (Mandarin/Cantonese)

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial, investment, credit, and banking solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Develop client networks through outreach, referrals, community events, and banking centre activities.
• Make outbound calls to existing and potential clients to identify growth and revenue opportunities.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and support their use of digital banking tools.
• Collaborate with Imperial Service and Business Banking colleagues to connect clients with appropriate expertise.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Mandarin and Cantonese language capability required for the role.
• Current accreditation and good standing under a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Client-focused communication, relationship-building, critical thinking, goal orientation, and digital literacy skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
