Mapping Team Lead (Building Automation)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; specific in-office days are required each month

Annual base salary: CAD 66,300–94,850, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead Building Digitalization team operations, performance analysis, scheduling, handoffs, and technical support.
• Improve and standardize data mapping procedures, workflows, workload management, and QA processes.
• Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate team members while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Manage critical and escalated client situations and communicate with Product Management, General Delivery, Development, and client stakeholders.
• Set up and monitor post-mapping data extraction, site connectivity, extraction health, and related errors.
• Perform override testing and deploy Haystack and Brick architectures for BrainBox AI data tagging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in building or mechanical engineering, or a related technical degree; advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with building automation systems, HVAC controls, or digital building technologies, including commissioning or field integration.
• Technical leadership experience mentoring junior integrators and guiding deployment, testing, and project handoff cycles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, system architecture, point naming conventions, building hierarchies, drawings, sequences of operation, and industry documentation.
• Experience with process improvement, workflow optimization, stakeholder reporting, client communication, and complex technical problem-solving.
• French-English bilingualism is required; full professional English proficiency is required for collaboration with English-speaking clients and stakeholders.
