What you will do

• Lead control systems projects through all phases including feasibility, design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Design and develop modern control systems hardware and software tailored to client requirements.
• Develop process control narratives to integrate automation solutions with new and existing equipment.
• Build and implement control algorithms and logic based on industry standards and emerging technologies.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technologists to expand their technical skills.
• Support business activities including project estimates, proposals, and risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering (automation, electrical, or related field).
• Registration as EIT, P.Eng., or AScT in British Columbia.
• 10+ years of industrial experience.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Hands-on design and configuration experience with DCS platforms (e.g., ABB, Emerson, Foxboro, Honeywell).
• Strong knowledge of industrial networking and cybersecurity practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Pulp & Paper industry.
• Experience with PLC/HMI systems.
• Project management experience.
