Operational Buyer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Execute tactical procurement strategies and support strategic sourcing for assigned material categories.
• Manage RFQs, supplier evaluations, technical clarifications, total cost analyses, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Oversee purchase order lifecycle management, including confirmations, quality compliance, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate technical, contractual, logistics, transportation, customs, and claim-management matters with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in procurement processes, data quality, supplier performance, savings, delivery, and process-quality KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in direct purchasing, material requirements planning, or a comparable supply chain role.
• Experience in manufacturing or power generation environments.
• Proficiency in SAP procurement modules and advanced Excel-based data analysis.
• Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, interpersonal, strategic-thinking, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
