TL;DR
Supply Chain Planner (ERP/SAP): Managing replenishment and inventory planning for traded goods across UK manufacturing sites with an accent on demand alignment, supplier coordination, and working capital control. Focus on setting safety stock parameters, preventing shortages and bottlenecks, and improving inventory planning processes.
Location: Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week at the plant or in the office and occasional travel to other UK locations

What you will do
- Manage replenishment of traded goods across UK sites, aligning stock levels with demand and working capital targets.
- Review supply and usage data to identify shortages and slow-moving inventory.
- Set inventory planning parameters, including safety stock levels, based on demand, lead times, and business needs.
- Coordinate demand and supply plans with Commercial, Product Management, and supplier teams.
- Plan inbound deliveries and support product launches and phase-outs.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, for planning, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Experience with safety stock setting, inventory optimisation, and stock control.
- Valid UK Driving Licence required.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships across teams.
Nice to have
- Experience delivering cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Experience with inventory planning process improvements and supplier partnerships.
- Background in manufacturing, multi-site operations, construction, building materials, or a similar industry.
- Experience supporting product launches, site consolidations, system implementations, raw material planning, or production scheduling.
