Project Planner (Supply Chain) (Robotics and warehouse automation): Developing and maintaining project material plans for customer-specific automation systems with an accent on supply execution, inventory coordination, and project reporting. Location: USA Remote with up to 20% travel to client and customer locations; a valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly are required.
Salary: $87,000–$119,900 per year, with additional medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO and other benefits.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain project material plans and drive supplier follow-up to ensure materials reach project sites for installation.
- Coordinate project material escalations as the primary contact for delivery issues and site requirements.
- Track planning milestones, purchase orders and deliveries across customer-specific automation projects.
- Maintain project tracking tools and improve performance reporting using Excel.
- Create material allocation reports for new projects and identify potential supply shortfalls.
- Develop KPIs and performance signals, and communicate project status and anticipated risks to executive stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years of project planning experience, including critical material planning experience.
- Experience with supply chain project management or process improvement initiatives.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and charts, lookup functions, macros and VBA.
- Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Experience with SAP and other supply chain management tools, plus strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Supply chain management certification such as APICS or CPIM.
