Procurement Manager (AI)

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing across indirect spend categories, including software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, data, professional services, marketing, and facilities.
• Run RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs end to end, using structured supplier evaluations, scorecards, and cost models.
• Develop negotiation strategies for new purchases and renewals, including pricing, volume tiers, payment terms, contract duration, and commercial redlines with Legal.
• Own the renewal pipeline, using usage data and market benchmarks to rightsize, consolidate, or renegotiate agreements.
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, IT, Security, Legal, and Engineering on forecasting, vendor diligence, data protection, and compliant purchasing.
• Analyze spend and benchmark data, report savings and cost avoidance, and use AI for research, contract review, spend analysis, negotiation preparation, and business cases.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, consulting, banking, finance, or business operations; software and SaaS spend experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating real commercial agreements from preparation through execution.
• Ability to identify financially significant agreement terms, including auto-renewals, uplift caps, true-up mechanics, and termination rights.
• Strong AI fluency, including experience automating work and verifying AI-generated output before relying on it.
• Strong Excel or Sheets skills, with the ability to model spend scenarios, total cost of ownership, and CFO-level business cases.
• Ability to influence Legal, Security, IT, Engineering, and Finance without formal authority and design scalable procurement processes.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Zip.
• Experience with complex cloud, infrastructure, enterprise SaaS, data, or model provider agreements.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, data processing agreements, and vendor security and privacy reviews.
