Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

hirify.global develops and manufactures semiconductor products, with this role focused on manufacturing cost and operational performance analysis.

What you will do

• Analyze direct and indirect manufacturing costs, production data, variances, and key cost drivers.
• Develop package-level costing models and cost-per-unit calculations for semiconductor products.
• Analyze workflows, cycle times, yields, productivity, and process performance for SOT, SOD, QFN, and NQFN packages.
• Lead or support cost-reduction, waste-reduction, automation, capital investment, and productivity improvement projects.
• Track project deliverables and realized savings, and prepare reports, dashboards, business reviews, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Finance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Cost Engineering, Process Improvement, Operations Excellence, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, with semiconductor industry experience highly preferred.
• Experience with data analysis, cost-reduction initiatives, productivity improvement, or operational excellence projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, and data analysis tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate findings, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, Python, or equivalent analytics tools.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
