What you will do
- Lead technicians responsible for manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Own safety, quality, production output, cost objectives, and operational issue resolution for the assigned area.
- Coordinate work flow across factories, groups, and divisions while partnering with engineering teams to resolve production-impacting problems.
- Manage shift staffing, workstation assignments, rotations, breaks, overtime, leave coverage, and employee certifications.
- Develop training plans and monitor capability levels to ensure teams can support production ramps.
- Establish long-term manufacturing capability strategies and drive accountability, performance, and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 0β1+ years of experience in manufacturing operations with a bachelorβs degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing management processes, safety and quality standards, and technical problem-solving.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing methodologies and process optimization.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Ability to work onsite in Penang and manage rotating 12-hour shifts.
Nice to have
- Masterβs degree and exposure to semiconductor manufacturing or similar fields.
- Experience as an engineer, team lead, or supervisor with a focus on team development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing data science tools, SQL, statistical methods, and workflow automation.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working across functional teams.
