What you will do

• Design, test, and analyze custom mixed-signal electronics for the Terran R launch vehicle.
• Own hardware development from concept and initial design through board bring-up, verification, qualification, flight production, integration, and vehicle operations.
• Develop electronics using ADCs, DACs, signal conditioning, amplifier circuits, and filters.
• Validate, debug, and analyze hardware data to ensure reliable performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, software, propulsion, GNC, fluids, and stage engineering teams.
• Manage hardware projects to support reliable, on-schedule launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronics for harsh environments and mission-critical applications such as launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, or robotics.
• Experience with eCAD software such as Altium or an equivalent tool.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience designing board-level hardware from concept through manufacturing.
• Experience developing integrated electronics solutions with highly cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with embedded software development and avionics integration.
• Experience designing avionics hardware and systems for reliability and manufacturability.
• Understanding of interfaces for sensors such as thermocouples and pressure transducers, and electromechanical devices such as solenoids, pyrotechnics, and actuators.
