Senior Project Buyer

Location: Onsite in Antwerp-Haven, Belgium

hirify.global is strengthening its OTS procurement team to support a client project in the chemical sector near Antwerp.

What you will do

• Support the Oxide procurement team with daily operational purchasing activities.
• Purchase services and technical goods or materials for maintenance and ongoing projects.
• Manage procurement dossiers from needs analysis and quotation requests through evaluation, price comparison, negotiation, and administrative follow-up.
• Ensure contractual settlement and accurate processing in SAP.
• Monitor compliance with SHE guidelines, internal procedures, and agreed service levels.
• Maintain supplier and internal customer relationships while resolving urgent requests, deviations, and minor disputes.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in an operational procurement environment.
• Education in engineering, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of industrial installations and services.
• Fluent Dutch and English communication skills required.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office.
• Financial and contractual knowledge sufficient to manage procurement dossiers accurately.
