What you will do

• Develop and implement global category strategies for direct materials to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the direct materials procurement team to achieve strategic objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers while managing strategic contracts.
• Drive cost savings and risk mitigation through market analysis and performance data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, R&D, finance, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies across all procurement activities.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in direct materials procurement within a global matrix manufacturing organization.
• Proven expertise in developing category strategies that deliver cost optimization and supply security.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes, including strategic sourcing and supplier lifecycle management.
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to deliver results under deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driving license.
