What you will do

• Design, test, and analyze custom high-speed digital electronics for the Terran R launch vehicle.
• Own hardware development from concept and board bring-up through design verification, qualification, flight production, integration, and vehicle operations.
• Develop avionics hardware involving high-speed serial interfaces, memory interfaces, SoCs, microcontrollers, and microprocessors.
• Perform hardware validation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, software, propulsion, GNC, fluids, and stage engineering teams.
• Make hardware design and project decisions that support reliability and launch schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronics for harsh environments and mission-critical applications such as launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, or robotics.
• Technical expertise in high-speed serial interfaces such as SPI, PCIe, and Ethernet, as well as memory interfaces and SoC, microcontroller, and microprocessor design.
• Experience with eCAD software such as Altium or an equivalent tool.
• Experience with board-level design from concept through manufacturing, including bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience developing integrated electronics solutions with highly cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with embedded software development and integration for avionics systems.
• Experience designing avionics hardware and systems for reliability and manufacturability.
