Strategic Businessmanager Trade (Energy Trading)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands

Gross annual salary: €95,000–€145,000, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance.

What you will do

• Enable effective decision-making across the Trade Management Team and strategic governance forums.
• Translate strategic priorities and management decisions into actionable plans, ownership, measurable outcomes, and progress tracking.
• Prepare and coordinate leadership meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, decision papers, minutes, and action follow-up.
• Lead Trade-wide initiatives, improvement programs, and strategic topics from planning through execution.
• Improve Trade governance, management reporting, decision documentation, and ways of working.

Requirements

• University degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in business management, strategy, governance, project management, or program management.
• Independent, structured, proactive, and comfortable combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience operating in complex stakeholder environments and influencing without formal authority.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Discretion, sound judgement, and the ability to work under pressure in a commercially sensitive trading environment.
