Senior Energy Efficiency Program Manager

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $92,500–$135,000 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop program designs, work plans, staff assignments, implementation plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate the delivery of large-budget commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs for utility clients.
• Track, quantify, and drive program deliverables to accurate and timely completion.
• Assess progress against goals and develop solutions for emerging issues and market dynamics.
• Manage subcontractors, community partners, industry affiliates, and other stakeholders.
• Manage client communications, expectations, satisfaction, and issue resolution while collaborating with IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in energy efficiency or demand-side management.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, and plans.
• Experience with short- and long-range planning, strategy, contract development, and negotiation.
• Excellent project and program management, communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish work process flows, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines accurately and within budget.
