Manager, Data Center Capacity Management (Cybersecurity)

Location: USA - Remote. U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status required. The role requires periodic additional background and fingerprint checks for government customer requirements.

Salary: $100,000–$155,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses and equity grants.

What you will do

• Build and lead a team responsible for data center capacity management.
• Own capacity planning across power, cooling, space, and availability at rack, row, and room levels.
• Optimize power utilization and use DCIM software for capacity planning and inventory management.
• Define infrastructure capacity requirements, reporting benchmarks, and forecasting workflows.
• Lead physical data center audits and maintain accurate asset and capacity data for SOC 2 and SOX compliance.
• Support project management, SLA tracking, equipment end-of-life planning, and decommissioning.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card/permanent resident status.
• 7+ years of experience in critical environments, including data center capacity and power management.
• Experience managing and developing personnel and leading partners and suppliers across disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, networking, structured cabling, server, and storage infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with DCIM software, capacity planning, inventory management, physical audits, and equipment decommissioning.
• Strong spreadsheet analysis, communication, collaboration, and cross-functional influencing skills.
