Manager of Information Technology

Location: Remote, anywhere in the US; mandatory all-company meetings several times a year and required team travel as necessary, with up to 15 days of travel per year.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 base salary per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Lead and coach the helpdesk and systems administration organization, developing a proactive internal IT service function.
• Own the IT project roadmap, prioritization process, and cross-functional initiatives such as migrations, security improvements, and system rollouts.
• Establish a structured, automated, documented, and audit-ready employee onboarding and offboarding program.
• Improve helpdesk SLAs, ticket workflows, project intake, documentation, productivity metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Own application authentication and access management standards, prioritizing automation for critical systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, evaluate vendor performance and risk, and create disaster recovery processes for critical systems.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience building systems, driving alignment, and creating measurable impact at scale.
• Experience leading and developing IT teams, including coaching, ownership design, workload visibility, and career development.
• Experience managing IT roadmaps, cross-functional projects, migrations, security improvements, and system rollouts.
• Ability to design process-driven operations with measurable improvements in onboarding, offboarding, service quality, and accuracy.
• Security-minded systems thinking, including authentication, access management, automation, and disaster recovery.
• Must be based in the US and able to travel for company meetings and team needs.
