CF Maintenance Specialist - Full Time (Automation)

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair catastrophic failures and perform complex technical repairs across Central Fulfillment equipment.
• Train, mentor, inspect, and audit the work of Maintenance Technicians.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment and process failures and recommend solutions to leadership.
• Research replacement options for end-of-life equipment and lead maintenance-related continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop process improvements that increase facility efficiency and reliability.
• Support shift, training, vacation, and holiday scheduling, as well as expense and capital planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant work experience preferred, with advanced knowledge gained through extensive experience.
• High school, vocational, or associate's degree; coursework in industrial, automation, or electrical technology is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CMMS and EAM systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and solve technical and mathematical problems.
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate clearly in English is required.

• Full-time, non-exempt position with open availability.
• Rotating shifts, including weekends, with flexibility to remain beyond scheduled shifts during system failures or production downtime.
• Work may involve standing for up to 12 hours, elevated platforms, tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
• Occasional travel by car or plane with overnight stays may be required.
• MHE operating certification may be required.
