Automation Maintenance Technician (All Levels) (Robotics)

Location: Woodland, California, USA; onsite

Salary: $32.00–$38.00 per hour, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Inspect automated storage and retrieval systems, robotic vehicles, automated adapters, and vertical lifts.
• Calibrate, repair, replace, modify, and maintain mechanical, electrical, electronic, and PLC-based system components.
• Troubleshoot robotic vehicle anomalies and stoppages using schematics, wiring diagrams, and advanced test equipment.
• Monitor automated material flow and adjust systems to support throughput and cases-per-hour targets.
• Recover robotic vehicles in the Matrix select system, including work in restrictive areas and at heights.
• Document inspections, parts, labor, repairs, and corrective actions in the CMMS while following 5S and safety procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with mechanical automation systems, or equivalent education and training.
• Associate degree or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electro-mechanical diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC operation and troubleshooting, with the ability to operate automated systems.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures and manuals, and perform inspection functions.
• Ability to work onsite in Woodland, California, including stairs, heights up to 45 feet, restrictive areas, variable temperatures, and lifting items up to 80 pounds.
