Onsite Fleet Dispatcher

Location: Onsite in Fort Myers, Florida, United States. Evening/night shifts in a 24x7 operation.

What you will do

• Dispatch emergency roadside assistance and commercial road service calls to members, club fleet personnel, and contracted service providers.
• Use radio, telephone, electronic systems, and computer-aided call processing tools to manage service requests.
• Identify member and customer locations using geographic spotting and map-reading skills, then provide detailed directions to service personnel.
• Monitor dispatched calls, resolve service issues, and handle driver and customer escalations according to established procedures.
• Document service issues, close requests in the electronic dispatch system, and assist less-tenured dispatchers.
• Accept payments when necessary and reconcile basic payment issues while maintaining records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate computer systems and enter data accurately using a standard keyboard.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentages.
• Experience resolving customer concerns and preparing written communications.
• Basic geography knowledge, ability to provide directions, strong verbal communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment with irregular evening and night hours.

Nice to have

• Experience dispatching calls or working in a call center environment.
• Knowledge of emergency roadside service benefits, policies, and procedures.
• Experience reading and understanding customer care tools, manuals, and workflow models.
