Fleet Dispatcher (Dallas Metroplex)

Location: On-site at the Fort Worth, Texas office/depot near Alliance Airport. The role requires full 12-hour shifts and may include overnight schedules.

What you will do

• Dispatch daily shifts, vehicles, and route instructions to Autonomous Vehicle Operators.
• Monitor vehicle locations, delivery progress, priorities, and estimated arrival times in real time.
• Handle emergency and non-emergency communications and provide rapid, solution-oriented guidance.
• Provide proactive delivery updates to clients and escalate urgent incidents to operations leadership.
• Track schedules, requests, delivery times, delays, communication logs, and operator work records.
• Prepare daily operational reports and communication summaries.

Requirements

• 3+ years of high-volume dispatch experience in transportation, fleet, shipping, or logistics.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service and general compliance.
• Proficiency with dispatching software, order management systems, TMS platforms, fleet management tools, Slack, and Zoom.
• Strong organization, multitasking, critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and calm communication under pressure.
• Experience with fast, accurate data entry, reporting, or basic operational analytics.
• Availability for full 12-hour shifts, primarily on site in Fort Worth, with flexibility for possible overnight schedules.
