Supervisor, Machine Shop, Second Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Second shift, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM PT, Monday through Friday, with a baseline expectation of a 50-hour workweek and occasional overtime.

Salary: $112,000–$168,000 USD annually, plus a 10% shift differential.

What you will do

• Own accountability for several teams of CNC operators.
• Lead people leaders across the machine shop operations floor.
• Support long-term strategic operations and shop-floor execution.
• Identify manufacturing process gaps and analyze their impact on the production system.
• Administer and delegate daily work assignments.
• Mentor and coach team members toward their career goals.

Requirements

• Experience identifying manufacturing process gaps and analyzing their impact on production systems.
• Experience administering and delegating daily work assignments.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Availability for the fixed second-shift schedule and expected 50-hour workweek.
