Salary: $78,362–$107,747 annually

What you will do

  • Supervise personnel building and assembling space system hardware, subassemblies, and integrated systems.
  • Review production schedules, material requirements, and workforce resources to meet operational plans and program milestones.
  • Assign personnel and resources, monitor costs, and manage workforce plans against performance targets.
  • Identify material shortages, production constraints, scheduling conflicts, and technical issues, then coordinate solutions across functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance to refine processes, procedures, equipment, tooling, and materials.
  • Lead performance management, coaching, accountability, safety, quality, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations and experience supporting organizational change.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • Ability to present technical information and operational recommendations to cross-functional audiences.

Nice to have

  • Management or lead experience in a manufacturing, MRO, or production environment.
  • Experience interpreting technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and work instructions.
  • Root cause analysis, corrective action planning, schedule risk mitigation, and product quality experience.
  • Aerospace, defense, U.S. Department of Defense, or U.S. military background.
  • Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience; willingness to travel and work extended hours or weekends when required.
