Production Supervisor (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Los Angeles, United States; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office

Salary: $108,000–$148,500 per year in targeted base compensation, excluding additional benefits.

What you will do

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
• Train, mentor, and manage production employees while building accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve production issues and optimize processes.
• Track output, downtime, and waste, prepare production reports, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery of finished goods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a high-rate manufacturing or production environment.
• 2+ years of experience leading a manufacturing or engineering team, or leading collaborative cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality systems, including ISO, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
