Sr. Director, Product Management (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid work with 1–3 days per week on-site

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end value chain and P&L performance for unsecured personal lines of credit, personal loans, and related product variants.
• Develop product, pricing, acquisition, and account management strategies to drive sustainable, risk-adjusted growth.
• Assess portfolio performance and recommend product enhancements, rationalization, or expansion based on client and market needs.
• Partner with Risk, Analytics, Marketing, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Retail teams on cross-functional execution.
• Embed risk management, compliance, and regulatory considerations into product and business decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Directors and Managers while fostering accountability and collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product leadership experience with P&L accountability in unsecured lending or closely related financial-services products.
• Experience in product management, portfolio optimization, pricing strategy, credit strategy, and cross-functional business leadership.
• Strong strategic decision-making, analytical, pricing, credit, and profitability assessment skills.
• Experience setting team goals, coaching employees, and leading successful team performance.
• Degree or diploma in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Nice to have

• MBA or equivalent business experience.
• Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives within consumer lending.
