Director, Product Management (Quantitative Investing)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada. Work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview. Legal eligibility to work at the specified location is required.

Annual base salary: $111,060–$152,710 CAD, plus participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.

What you will do

• Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for the Quantitative Investing Dashboard.
• Lead agile delivery routines, release sequencing, dependency management, readiness reviews, and post-release feedback.
• Translate portfolio risk, performance analytics, attribution, optimization, scenario analysis, and constraint-aware decision-support needs into product requirements.
• Align Quantitative Investing, Risk Management, Portfolio Management Construction, investment strategy, and technology stakeholders.
• Embed data quality, reconciliation, documentation, model-risk governance, privacy, and authoritative-source controls into delivery workflows.
• Advance platform modernization across Databricks, Azure, quality assurance, production controls, and responsible AI/ML solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services, people management, project or process delivery, and people change management.
• Experience leading large projects using waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with vendors and business partners.
• Experience with quantitative investing, multi-factor risk models, multi-asset portfolio risk, performance analytics, portfolio construction workflows, and agile product management in a regulated environment.
• Degree or diploma in finance, mathematics, engineering, computer science, data science, economics, or a related field.
• Experience developing strategic team goals, coaching employees, and driving team performance.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma, ADKAR change management, and Agile/Scrum experience.
• Python, Databricks, Azure, APIs, microservices, fixed income analytics, or AI/ML-enabled product delivery experience.
