Product Manager - Simplii Financial (Fintech)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–3 days per week onsite at Toronto-81 Bay

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product management or a closely related field.
• Experience contributing to product delivery in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry is preferred.
• Customer-first, evidence-driven approach with strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to manage backlogs, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and monitor product metrics.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to provide a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Contribute to structured product discovery and analyze customer data to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Help develop business cases that connect customer needs with product opportunities.
• Maintain a clear, prioritized backlog and write well-formed user stories with precise acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, and operations to support delivery and resolve deviations from customer intent.
• Track squad metrics and connect shipped product changes to customer and business outcomes.
• Communicate product decisions and complexity clearly with squad members and stakeholders.
