Mechanisms Technician II (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. First shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.

Salary: $27.20–$40.80 USD per hour. The schedule includes a 50-hour workweek with 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week.

What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering teams to build the first Terran R mechanism assemblies.
• Follow precise work instructions to complete mechanism build operations.
• Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies using hand tools and test equipment.
• Use calibrated torque wrenches and precision inspection equipment during manufacturing.
• Work with technician teams to execute daily operations and maintain product quality.

Requirements

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or experience in a related field.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with flight hardware.
• Experience building and testing electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with wiring, harnessing, and avionics.
• Knowledge of relevant aerospace industry standards and specifications, with strong attention to detail and product quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with electrical testing, including high- and low-voltage systems.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Airframe and Powerplant license.
