Production Supervisor (Aerospace)

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 annually, plus equity opportunities

What you will do

• Lead daily production across composite fabrication, airframe assembly, subassembly integration, avionics, and final vehicle build operations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop technicians and lead technicians while maintaining accountability and technical execution.
• Drive production schedule attainment by coordinating labor, tooling, materials, cure cycles, inspection hold points, and downstream integration.
• Ensure compliance with released work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, configuration control, traceability, and manufacturing records.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and Test teams to resolve constraints and maintain build flow.
• Enforce safe work practices, FOD prevention, 5S, tool accountability, equipment readiness, calibration compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or another high-reliability manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in production supervision or equivalent shop-floor team leadership.
• Experience with composite fabrication, structural assembly, mechanical integration, or final assembly in aerospace production.
• Experience with GD&T, ASME Y14.5, AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality standards, and manufacturing systems such as JIRA, ERP/MRP, MES, or PLM.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of material, assembly documentation, and workmanship standards, and coordinate across production, engineering, quality, planning, and program teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and may need authorization to access U.S. export-controlled technology under EAR and ITAR without export-license sponsorship. Extended hours or alternate shifts may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with new product introduction, low-rate initial production, production ramp, or unmanned and flight-vehicle programs.
• Knowledge of configuration management, nonconformance reporting, RCCA, and aerospace hardware traceability.
• Experience leading high-mix, low-volume manufacturing teams.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing, visual management, and continuous improvement practices.
