Quality Supervisor (Weekday Shift) (Aerospace)

Location: Irvine, California, United States. Onsite weekday shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance are required.

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Technicians and Inspectors across assigned production and test areas.
• Oversee daily quality assurance operations, including inspections, build and test support, document review, and defect recording.
• Ensure consistent execution of QMS requirements, inspection standards, customer deliverables, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage nonconformance reports, defect documentation, quality records, and supporting evidence.
• Partner with Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly & Test, Program Management, and Operations on CAPA/RCCA and continuous improvement.
• Enforce cleanroom, ESD, safety, workmanship, and documentation standards while communicating quality risks and status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or relevant technical trade qualifications.
• 4+ years of quality assurance experience in aerospace, high-reliability electronics, mechanical assembly, or a similar environment.
• 2+ years of team lead or supervisory experience, including work assignments, performance reviews, timekeeping, and hiring decisions.
• Experience with inspection practices, build and test documentation, QA/QC principles, and nonconformance management.
• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD-001, GD&T, and aerospace mechanical, PCBA, and harness assembly standards.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance; export-control eligibility or required U.S. authorizations are also required.

Nice to have

• Certified Quality Technician or similar certification.
• Experience with MES, ERP, PLM, Jira, Aegis, D365, Windchill, or equivalent quality systems.
• Experience reviewing complex documentation packages and conducting root cause investigations.
