PDC(PROVision) Process Support Engineer

Location: Cheongju, South Korea; onsite customer support and equipment installations required

What you will do

• Provide customer support through onsite installations, system diagnosis, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Design hypothesis experiments and DOEs, analyze process data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and customer product issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement resolutions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers to build consensus, trust, and effective working relationships.
• Support junior colleagues and serve as a liaison between customers and the business unit; lead small projects when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
• English communication proficiency is required.

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
