Product Quality Engineer (Lithography)

What you will do

• Establish and maintain specifications and control limits for products and raw materials, including incoming quality control, supplier specifications, and shelf-life requirements.
• Develop and continuously improve process control plans and FMEAs with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Lead or facilitate root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions for out-of-control conditions, nonconforming materials, and customer quality complaints.
• Prepare customer process change notification letters and support customers during qualification testing.
• Participate in production and quality process improvement initiatives, customer audits, and internal ISO audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in organic chemistry, polymer science, material science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Thorough understanding of raw material and product chemistry, analytical methods, and functional characterization.
• Experience working with external customers or suppliers on technical projects, product development, improvement projects, or problem resolution.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with QC 7 tools, N7, QC problem-solving stories, 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, or similar methodologies.
• Expertise in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry and physics.
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six Sigma, and statistical software.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor processing or semiconductor materials in engineering, R&D, quality, fab, or manufacturing.
