PRN MA/LPN (Primary Care)

Salary: MA $21.00–$26.00/hour; LPN $26.00–$30.00/hour

What you will do

• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
• Review medical information, gather updated patient data, and record accurate information in medical records.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications under provider direction and written orders.
• Handle scheduling, check-in and check-out, medical record requests, referrals, specialist visits, and coordination of outside care.
• Process test results, communicate results as directed, and conduct patient outreach to support engagement and close care gaps.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
