What you will do

• Define and own architectures and technical specifications for custom ASIC and SoC products from concept through tape-out.
• Lead requirements gathering, trade-off analysis, system partitioning, and high-level design optimization across performance, power, area, scalability, and cost.
• Guide integration of IP blocks, processing subsystems, memory and I/O, high-speed interfaces, and custom accelerators.
• Align architecture and feature sets with systems, product management, software, and firmware stakeholders.
• Oversee architectural execution, validation, bring-up, post-silicon debugging, and third-party IP integration.
• Mentor cross-functional engineering teams and present technical concepts and progress to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep experience architecting custom silicon, ASIC, or SoC designs, including digital and mixed-signal systems.
• Expertise in system partitioning, IP integration, interconnect protocols, memory hierarchies, and clock and power domain management.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of top-down architecture flows, performance modeling, EDA tools, and verification strategies.
• Experience integrating analog, RF, software, firmware, and hardware interfaces.
• Strong understanding of AXI, PCIe, DDR/LPDDR, MIPI, USB, and other modern interface standards.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of experience in custom silicon, ASIC, or SoC development with architecture leadership experience.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading multi-site or cross-disciplinary projects.
• Experience in physical AI, automotive, networking, storage, security, or advanced compute.
• Patents, publications, industry engagement, or experience with strategic planning and IP/vendor evaluations.
