What you will do

  • Lead pre-silicon functional verification of complex CPU and SoC logic against architectural and microarchitectural specifications.
  • Develop verification plans, testbenches, and SystemVerilog/UVM environments, driving functional and coverage closure.
  • Define, run, and analyze system-level simulations covering functional, performance, power, and corner-case behavior.
  • Debug and root-cause RTL, microarchitecture, and integration issues, driving resolution with design teams.
  • Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL designers, power/performance teams, and physical design engineers.
  • Maintain and scale verification infrastructure, automation, methodologies, documentation, and design-review processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with design verification methodologies using SystemVerilog, UVM, and industry-standard EDA tools.
  • Pre-silicon verification experience with CPU, SoC, or complex IP designs.
  • Strong debugging skills with SystemVerilog, C/C++, and Linux-based simulation environments.
  • Analytical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, clear technical communication, and adaptability.

Nice to have

  • Python or Perl scripting for verification automation.
  • RTL development experience and close interaction with design teams.
  • Knowledge of CPU microarchitecture, computer architecture, system boot flows, power management, and low-power features.
  • Experience with power/performance verification, including frequency, voltage, and low-power state transitions.
