Technical Recruiter (Contract)

Location: Long Beach, California; fully onsite five days per week

Salary: $49–$68 USD per hour

What you will do

• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for technical roles across manufacturing, operations, and design engineering.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to define talent needs and execute targeted recruiting strategies.
• Source, engage, manage, and close high-performing passive candidates.
• Develop recruiting-funnel improvements, scalable interview frameworks, and equitable hiring processes.
• Evaluate recruiting tools, monitor technology trends and competitive market data, and advocate for an exceptional candidate experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-scaling, high-growth organizations.
• Proven success sourcing passive talent and filling early- to mid-career roles.
• Experience partnering with hiring managers to develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies.
• Experience negotiating offers and using creative closing strategies.
• Experience improving recruiting processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach five days per week.

Nice to have

• Recruiting experience in rapidly scaling hardware and manufacturing organizations.
• Experience managing high-volume non-exempt hiring and specialized exempt searches simultaneously.
• Ability to pivot quickly between departments, priorities, and hiring needs.
