Senior Engineer, Software Test (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop test plans and procedures for hardware, software, and integrated systems.
• Execute verification and validation efforts, including regression testing and test case development.
• Analyze test data and document verification results.
• Troubleshoot and isolate defects in complex systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop and flight testing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on testing experience across software, hardware, or integrated systems.
• Knowledge of verification and validation, regression testing, and test case development.
• Experience with test tools, automation, scripting such as Python or MATLAB, and test frameworks.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, requirements, and system specifications.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and test-result reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with aerospace or defense systems and standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, or MIL-HDBK-516C.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex embedded systems.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing in an aerospace or military environment.
• Experience with large programs and first-of-type systems.
• Ability to obtain a S//SAR-level security clearance.
