Vehicle Inspector

Location: Melbourne, VIC, Australia. Full-time Australian working rights on an ongoing basis are required.

RedBook Inspect, part of hirify.global, provides third-party vehicle inspections for buyers, rideshare operators, and finance-sector clients.

What you will do

• Complete Remote Video Assessments using a purpose-built digital application.
• Generate accurate inspection reports for a wide range of motor vehicles and caravans.
• Contact customers to schedule assessments and liaise with owners, sellers, and buyers about reports.
• Respond promptly and professionally to emails and phone calls.
• Monitor bookings, resolve issues, and support efficient customer turnaround times.

Requirements

• Automotive industry experience is desirable, ideally with experience across a broad range of vehicles or caravans.
• Strong attention to detail, fault-finding experience, and precise data entry skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, use initiative, and solve problems independently.
• Familiarity with Apple iOS and Android systems is desirable.
• Successful candidates must pass a National Police Record check and have full-time Australian working rights on an ongoing basis.
