What you will do

• Escort patients to exam rooms and clean and stock clinical spaces.
• Review medical histories, collect updated health information, and record accurate data in medical records.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with clinical procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, check-in and check-out, referrals, specialist visits, medical record requests, and external care.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients according to provider instructions.
• Support patient outreach, care-gap identification, care plans, and maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• Medical Assistant certification or registration is required where mandated by state law; national or state-specific certification is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.

• Phlebotomy experience.
