Factory Test Technician II - 1st Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Onsite first-shift role, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

Salary: $27.20–$40.80 per hour.

What you will do

• Assemble, calibrate, inspect, and test aerospace systems and components.
• Own assigned portions of factory test projects and contribute to project completion.
• Troubleshoot and solve testing problems with minimal supervision.
• Lead smaller tasks or sub-projects within the Factory Test team.
• Provide feedback to improve team quality and efficiency.
• Document test results accurately and complete reports on time.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in aerospace testing, fabrication, or a similar field.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Experience troubleshooting and solving problems with minimal guidance.
• Understanding of aerospace components and systems, including the ability to read technical schematics and drawings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to team goals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces or at heights.

• Experience with varied testing equipment and mechanical or electrical systems.
• Experience creating and reviewing test documentation and work orders.
• Experience mentoring less experienced team members.
• Experience with advanced aerospace systems, cryogenics, or hydraulic systems.
