What you will do

• Own integrated stage-level fluid architecture and schematics across propellant, pressurant, and pneumatic subsystems.
• Lead interface definition and negotiations with Propulsion/Engine, Structures, GNC, and Avionics teams.
• Support component- and system-level sizing and steady-state one-dimensional thermofluids analysis.
• Define development, qualification, and acceptance testing to reduce technical risk before integrated vehicle testing.
• Develop concepts of operations and review operational data for integrated fluid-system testing and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working with complex fluid systems.
• Strong knowledge of fluid-system architecture, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with one or more fluid or thermal modeling tools for compressible and incompressible fluid analysis.
• Experience with Matlab, Python, or C++ for data analysis or modeling.
• Direct experience designing or operating launch vehicle or spacecraft fluid or propulsion systems.

Nice to have

• Experience certifying vehicle fluid systems for NSSL and/or range certification.
