What you will do

  • Provide manufacturing and assembly input for propulsion and pressurization components, including valves, regulators, tubing, manifolds, COPVs, fittings, and instrumentation.
  • Develop, qualify, and optimize repeatable manufacturing processes and production equipment for flight propulsion hardware.
  • Create manufacturing plans, assembly procedures, travelers, and work instructions for development, qualification, and flight builds.
  • Assemble, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and qualify propulsion components and safety-critical fluid-system subassemblies.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and quality engineering on manufacturing documentation, inspection methods, acceptance criteria, and process controls.
  • Support readiness reviews and continuous-improvement initiatives focused on cycle time, yield, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace, propulsion, or high-reliability fluid systems.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX, design review, manufacturing documentation, and assembly or test tooling.
  • Knowledge of GD&T and experience creating or reviewing engineering drawings.
  • Understanding of propulsion fluid systems, including tube fabrication, welding or brazing, cleaning, and assembly.
  • Experience with high-pressure or hazardous fluid systems, hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing due to U.S. export-control requirements.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience qualifying propulsion or fluid components.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and ownership of safety-critical hardware.
