CSFE Instructional Designer (Navy Training)

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship required. Travel is expected to be less than 10%.

Salary: $73,965–$92,000 per year, depending on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Design instructional approaches, interactive courseware, and technology-enabled learning solutions for Navy and defense training missions.
• Analyze training and media requirements and translate them into learning objectives, instructional strategies, delivery methods, and evaluation plans.
• Develop computer-based training, web-based training, storyboards, lessons, assessments, test methods, and other instructional materials.
• Maintain the consistency and integrity of task analyses, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional content, and evaluation approaches.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate the technical accuracy, relevance, and quality of training content.
• Support course updates, test development, workflow development, and curriculum initiatives using Microsoft Office 365 and designated NETC authoring tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant instructional design, instructional development, curriculum development, or related experience.
• Experience designing and developing Navy training or curriculum.
• Experience developing courseware, computer-based training, web-based training, storyboards, assessments, and instructional materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills, including collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Ability to complete a qualifying background investigation for eligibility for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC); U.S. citizenship required.
