Training and Instructional Design Specialist

Location: Fully remote within the United States, operating in the Eastern Time zone from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. Occasional travel for training and project meetings is expected at less than 5% per year.

Salary: $63,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze learning needs across the FPS2 program.
• Design and develop clear, visually appealing, and instructionally sound training materials.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences that build organizational capability.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning methodologies to improve performance.
• Facilitate training and collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic objectives.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for U.S. Federal Government public trust clearance is required.
• Foreign national candidates must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the previous 5 years and provide a valid passport plus appropriate visa or work permit documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience designing and delivering training in corporate, technical, or government environments.
• Proficiency with instructional design tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Camtasia, or Vyond.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a learning-related field.
• Experience with LMS administration or learning data analytics.
• Exposure to Agile development or human-centered design.
• Industry-specific training experience in IT, cybersecurity, healthcare, or operations.
